Ingredients for Stuffed Shimla Mirch-
- Capsicum / shimla mirch) – 5 to 6
- Potatoes – 500 grams or 5 to 6 (Boiled)
- green chili 2-3
- Oil —4 tbsp
- Heeng (asafoetida) -1-2 pinch
- Jeera (cumin seeds) -1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
- fennel seeds-1/2 tsp
- black pepper-5,6
- Cloves 5-6
- Fenugreek Seeds 1/2 tsp
- Coriander (dhaniya) powder -1 tsp
- Red chilly powder -1/4 tsp
- Besan (Gram flour) -1/2 tsp
- Gram masala -1/4 tsp
- Amchur powder -1/4 tsp
- Salt – add to taste
- Oil- 5-6 tsp
- green coriander
Method of Cooking Spicy Potato Stuffed capsicum-
How to prepare the filling-
Dry roast the, fennel seeds, black pepper, Cinnamon, Fenugreek Seeds, Cloves, cumin seeds together at low flame for 2-3 minutes. Let it cool after that grind all these together. Take this mixture aside.
Take heavy bottom pan on medium heat and pour the oil. Heat the oil, add cumin seeds and Heeng after 1 minute add chopped green chili and Basan, Now add mashed boiled potatoes, add Turmeric powder ,Red chili powder, Coriander powder, Amchur powder and salt add all these ingredients together. after 2 min add the mixture which was we created first. continue stir all ingredients, Now switch off the flalme and green coriander in it. Making Stuffed Capsicum Recipe –
You have to Wash and clean capsicum first, cut and remove the seeds inside, now Hollow capsicum is ready to be stuffed, start the filling with the help of spoon. You have to do all capsicum tightly stuffed.
Heat the pan again now pour remaining oil on the pan and heat it. Put the stuffed capsicums in it then cover the pan. Ope
n the lid after 2-3 minutes and turn them over. d
o it again again. check each side cooked well. it will take 8-10 minutes. now switch off the flame. Stuffed Capsicum /Bharwa Shimla Mirch is ready.
