Flaxseeds (Alsi) Benefits –

Flaxseed is found in all kinds of today’s foods like waffles to oatmeal and although flaxseed contains all sorts of healthy components Flaxseeds (Alsi) are good source of energy. These tiny seeds are packed with various soluble fibres, especially Omega 3 fatty acids and nutrients making them an excellent food for diabetes diet as well as weight loss diet.

Flaxseeds Ladoo Recipe | Alsi Ladoo

Ingredients are-

Flaxseed (Alsi) – 1 cup
Whole wheat flour (Atta) – 1 cup
Jaggery (gur) – Half cup
Ghee – 1/2 cup
Cashew nuts – 5- 6
Walnuts – 5-6
Almonds – 5-6
Raisins – 10-12
Cardamom – 4, crushed
Roasted Coconut powder – 2 tbsp (optional)

 

Method for Flaxseeds (Alsi) Laddu

You have to dry roast flax seeds on low flame first then grind it make powder when it cooled down. Chop all the dry fruits and roast them in some ghee in a pan. Keep aside.

take pan and heat some ghee in it then roast wheat flour now add jaggery and crushed cardamoms and mix well till jaggery melts.

Now Combine all the ingredients together to make a dough-like mixture. Then make ladoos from the mixture you can add some ghee if it required to make ladoos form and keep them aside till set. Your Flaxseeds (Alsi) Laddu are ready to eat.
